Sala
Fauzi, the owner of Sala, created his restaurant to be a fun way to eat healthy and be aware of environmental sustainability. In Spanish, Sala means “living-room” and is also an acronym for slavar a los animales (save the animals). Fauzi has created meals using only plant-based ingredients which means that they are lower in calories and cholesterol while being higher in clean protein. Fauzi is a Malaysian-born national and prides himself on combining local delicacies and national favourites into his menu with a healthier and cleaner twist on famous food staples like “Nasi Lemak” and many others. He wants his customers to feel at home at Sala and to be involved in what goes into their meal.
